ELT's first generation sexual harassment training course made history with a series of "firsts" for our industry that literally set the standard for all the courses that have followed. This course was the very first commercially available online compliance course. It was also the first course that delivered story-based compliance lessons based on real life conflicts drawn from the collective experience of Littler Mendelson attorneys.
Most importantly, Workplace Harassment I was the first online compliance solution to demonstrate that online training can both engage and educate learners. Over its lifespan, the course was used to train more than 3,000,000 learners in virtually every market segment. It was also repeatedly approved by the EEOC as part of remedial consent decrees that required employers to provide workplace harassment training.
Workplace Harassment I is succeeded by our current workplace harassment solution, Workplace Harassment II. Workplace Harassment I helps organizations establish a powerful affirmative defense to claims of sexual harassment and other forms of prohibited workplace harassment under EEOC guidelines and Supreme Court decisions and can be paired with ELT's EEO course to satisfy the requirements of state-specific sexual harassment and discrimination standards in states like California (AB 1825; Gov. Code §12950.1) and Connecticut (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 46a-54(15)(B)).
