ELT provides a variety of powerful and cost-effective customization options.
ELT's Core and Advanced Customization Options are designed to maximize the impact on your learners—and minimize the impact on your budget and busy schedule. They provide practical and easy ways to add custom information to ELT's fully vetted expert compliance content.
Core Customization Options
Core Customization Options allow you to add your organization's branding, contact information, and policies to every ELT course. They are our most cost-effective and popular requests.
1. Executive Introduction & Conclusion Screen
A custom Executive Introduction from your CEO or other leader brands the course and powerfully communicates your organization's commitment to sustaining a culture of ethics, inclusion, and respect. It also sends the message that training is a priority for senior leaders—resulting in higher completion rates and lower administrative burden. A custom Executive Conclusion can also be added.
Executive Introductions and Conclusions are available in two formats:
Still Images, Audio & Text
A Multimedia Executive Introduction opens the course with a custom text and audio message from one of your senior leaders.
Custom images build across the screen as learners advance through the Introduction.
Video, Audio & Text
A Digital Video Introduction provides the same custom message—but adds the impact of video delivery.
Custom images built in sync with the video; the text of your leader's message is also presented below the video window.
2. Your Organization's Logo on Every Screen
You can brand every ELT course with your organization's logo. Your logo appears in the upper left corner of every screen and replaces the logo shown below.
3. Your Organization's Policy and Contact Information
Learners are provided with custom directions on how to ask questions and raise potential concerns within your organization.
These resources can be accessed via "Questions" and "Policy" icons located in the upper right-hand corner of each screen.

After clicking on the “Questions” icon (shown above), learners are given instructions on what to do if they have a question about the course or want to report a concern.
Screen content is entirely customizable and can include directions on who to contact at your organization, links to your intranet or other online resources, e-mail hyperlinks, and/or ethics “hot line” numbers; this page is also branded with your organization's logo.
Custom Policy Icon
After clicking on the Policy Icon (shown above), learners are presented with a printable version of your organization's appropriate policies.
Pre-Certification Resources Screen
Your organization's policies and contact information are also presented to learners on the Pre-Certification Resources Screen.
This screen precedes final certification and ensures that every learner has viewed your contact information and policies at least once while taking the course.
This allows learners to certify at course completion that they have received, read, and understood this key compliance information.
4. Custom Completion Certificate
Before finishing the course and receiving completion credit, learners are presented with a certification statement. Learners must agree to the statement with an electronic signature to receive course credit.
The Completion Certificate can be customized to include your organization's logo, organization-specific background images, and special completion/certification text.
The Completion Certificate is also printable.
Advanced Customization Options
For clients who want to include additional custom content, ELT has designed a number of flexible, customizable elements directly into its courseware.
These elements are quick, easy-to-use, and cost-effective—and allow you to tailor the course to your audience and organization at a fraction of the cost of traditional “from scratch” customization.
Below are some of our most popular options.
1. Optional Segments/Customizable Course Length/Multiple Course Versions
ELT courses come ready-to-use with a complete set of fully vetted, recommended segments.
We have also pre-developed a broad range of additional segment options for all of our highly flexible courses. You can create a custom course by adding and/or removing these segments.
This modular approach gives you the ability to choose which topics are included in your courses and lets you do the following:
- Tailor course content to address your organization's unique challenges.
- Control overall course length by reducing or increasing the number of course segments.
- Create separate course versions, so that different learner groups receive training that has been specifically tailored to their needs and/or work responsibilities.
Available optional content varies with each course, but it ranges from subjects like gender-identity discrimination to reductions in force (RIFs) to advanced Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance.
This unique approach to course design puts you in control of the course content and allows you to deliver a custom training solution that is designed to meet your organization's unique compliance challenges.
2. Custom Spotlight Screens
Custom Spotlight Screens can be added throughout ELT courseware and provide a simple but effective way to discuss your organization's policies and practices in greater detail. Custom text fields in the Spotlight Screens let you highlight important issues that are specific to your workplace or industry. Custom images can also be added to further brand the course.
3. Custom True/False Questions
Custom Questions can be added throughout ELT courseware. These true/false questions can be used to address commonly asked questions, to test your learners' understanding of key policies and practices, and to present specific scenarios or hypothetical situations that you would like featured in your course. These text based questions are easy to write and inexpensive to add to courses. Custom images can also be added to further brand the training.
Custom answer screens allow you to give learners concise, practical guidance regarding the issue, policy, or practice discussed.
4. Custom Training Segments
Some organizations may need to create completely custom segments to address topics that are critical in their environment or industry. ELT can work hand-in-hand with your team to create the content and design the segments. We put years of development experience and resources at your fingertips.
ELT has an extensive media library of character and situational photographs, an in-house recording studio and full video production capabilities. Our expert Production Team has extensive expertise in dynamic XML, Flash, and HTML development.
5. Translation Services
ELT has extensive knowledge and experience translating its training programs to meet the needs of international clients. ELT's in-house experts manage the translation project from inception to completion and can advise on special circumstances that arise when translating courseware.
6. Premium Branding
ELT's Premium Branding package allows clients to more prominently feature their logo, colors and custom media. This package includes revising color schemes of major course elements, incorporating custom watermarks, and featuring additional custom photos and videos.
